MaskMe is available for Chrome and Firefox but still it is not be updated. Developers have already developed a new addon known as Blur which does many more things. This is also available for Firefox and Chrome.

While using an extension, when it asks for email ID, there you will get an option of mask the email address. When you select that, you have to enter an email mask instead of real email ID. The mail sent to masked email ID will be then forwarded to your actual email ID. Now it’s your turn to decide which one to keep and which one to erase. That is when you begin to receive promotional email from third party, you can set in such a way that is deleted is automatically.

Temporary email ID’s help

Temporary emails are applicable only for some period of point such as 10 minutes or half an hour. This type of email ID’s are used when such type of work is required. For an instance, if you want to give an email ID to get the download link then you can easily make one temporary ID and use it rather than using your original ID. After you receive the download link, the email ID expires and further emails will bounce. By this way you will prevent spam.
